Greens call for more outside gym equipment in Palmer Park
Despite promises from Labour councillors to minimise disruption, disappointingly Palmer Park sports centre will close from April until December.
Councillor Jamie Whitham says,
“Exercise is so important for our physical and mental wellbeing. With the price of gym membership soaring and the Palmer Park sports centre closing temporarily, we feel it’s time for outdoor exercise equipment to be installed here.”
