Cllr Jamie Whitham

Jamie Whitham lives on London Road in Redlands Ward and has lived in the area since studying at Reading University nearly 20 years ago.

He is experienced as a councillor. He was elected as Reading's third Green councillor in May 2012 in Park, before standing down in 2016. He has since moved to Redlands Ward and became councillor there in 2019. Cllr David McElroy joins him in Redlands Ward this year.

Jamie has been an active member of Greenpeace for many years. In his spare time, he enjoys cycling, gardening and is an active member of the community. Jamie said: "I'll continue to work hard to tackle climate change, to promote cycling, walking and other sustainable transport, and to stand up for public services."
