David McElroy said: "My name is David and I am the Redlands Ward Green Party candidate. I will listen – I won’t ignore your views – and together we can improve the area."
Green action – working hard all year round, with you
David lives locally with his family and enjoys cycling. He has worked hard with Cllr Jamie Whitham to improve Redlands for the last three years and has met many of you. Labour has ignored views; Greens have worked with people:
– Opposing Labour’s closure of Arthur Hill pool, working for a public swimming pool
– Addressing Redlands Ward road safety and improving walking and cycling
– Helped in the pandemic, promoting food banks and tackling housing issues.
David continues: "If elected as your councillor I will continue to work on issues important to you – planting trees, fixing potholes and litter picking. I will listen and keep you informed all year, not just at election time – sign up for our road emails."
Elect a second Redlands Green councillor – we can win again in 2021
You currently have three councillors (2 Labour, 1 Green). Greens won last time in Redlands. At this council election you have one vote and the opportunity to elect David as a second Green Party councillor. Whatever happens at the election you will still have at least one Labour councillor.
David concluded: "If there is anything I can do to help, please get in touch. I care about our area. I am looking forward to getting stuck in as a councillor, listening and working together to make Redlands better."
