£100,000 Palmer Park cash denied by Labour council

Despite winning the public vote for how to spend £100,000 of local development money, Labour Councillors withdraw funding from Palmer Park Wokingham Road play area.

David McElroy said, ‘A portion of local development money is supposed to spent on what the local public want, but Labour have completely ignored this.

‘Instead of the money needed to refurbish the play area for children, the Park is getting nothing. If we can turn our 2018 second place vote in Redlands into a 2019 win, we can keep up the pressure to change these decisions.’
