Kizzi Johannessen selected to stand up for Redlands Ward

Kizzi Johannessen (c.2017)

Green campaigner, Kizzi Johannessen, who stole headlines by coming second in Redlands at the last elections is selected to go one better in 2018.

Kizzi said, “I am passionate about being elected as councillor for Redlands. I have lived in Redlands, my children attended the local primary school and I love the area. I understand the issues that are important to people here, and I would be honoured to represent them as Green Party councillor.”

“I want real improvements on issues such as parking and speed limits and will continue to support residents against the closure of Arthur Hill swimming pool and children's centres. Green Party councillors have achieved much; from bread-and-butter issues like tackling parking and fly-tipping problems, to getting the Council to pay a living wage, but there is still a lot to do. Coming second last time means we can win here in 2018 and make a real difference.”
